After hours US ....had warned India of possible bomb attacks in New Delhi... A crude car bomb of propane, gasoline and fireworks was discovered in a smoking Nissan Pathfinder in the heart of Times Square NEW YORK on Saturday evening, prompting the evacuation of thousands of tourists and theatergoers on a warm and busy night. The alert was triggered when a street vendor saw smoke coming from a Nissan Pathfinder parked on 45th Street and Seventh Avenue at about 1830 (2230 GMT) on Saturday. Police officers from the emergency service unit and firefighters flooded the area, but were troubled by the hazard lights and running engine, and by the fact that the SUV was oddly angled in the street. At this point, a firefighter from Ladder 4 reported hearing several "pops" from within the vehicle. The police also learned that the Pathfinder had the wrong license plates on it.
Its really funny that US intelligence warns about  terror strike in India but really failed to cope with terrorists planting bombs in its own territory ,The world should understand that no Nation is safe from terror strikes and should concentrate on safety of  its own territory and people.
But on terror threat to India , it  is aimed at disrupting the Commonwealth Games in Delhi later this year. Emails received by sports bodies in UK, Canada and Australia warn them not to send athletes to Delhi for the Games...emails have been traced to servers in Pakistan.Terrorists are planning to target Commonwealth Games infrastructure, participants and organisers ahead of the Games. There's credible intelligence in India that at least three terror modules have been asked to trigger attacks in Delhi. Sources add that the terrorists have come in from Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan through Jammu & Kashmir.
Hope our intelligence will able to cope with such attacks and provide a terror free Common Wealth Games at NEW DELHI .
