     India's atomic energy body has given Delhi University two weeks to explain how radioactive waste -cobalt-60  , which killed a man in Mayapuri industrial area in DELHI , was sold as scrap.The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) ordered the university to stop experiments using radioactivity.
      There is the likelihood of deadly metallic pencils that carry the radioactive Cobalt-60 lying in the open somewhere in Delhi.The regulatory board has issued a lookout for the missing pencils. It has also cautioned people to keep away if they come across these metallic pencils and immediately inform the police.
     As Commonwealth Games comes this year to Delhi , the Government is recognizing the signs of bigger crisis which needs to be solved quickly.
